The Kokomo and Howard County Nonprofit Council and Faith Leader Council is a unique alliance comprising more than 120 organizations within two essential groups: nonprofit organizations and faith leaders. While technically separated in name to accommodate specific initiatives, we meet as one cohesive coalition with a shared commitment to building a stronger community.
Faith Leaders: Comprising pastors, church leaders, and other faith-based ministries, this group is dedicated to the spiritual and community well-being of Kokomo and Howard County. They bring their wisdom and influence to the table, contributing to the holistic growth of our region.
Founded in 2022 and facilitated at the Kokomo Thriving Center, a regional education center of Indiana Wesleyan University National and Global, our mission is to engage in collaborative efforts to effect positive change on issues that impact our region. We are committed to strengthening the social fabric of our community, recognizing the interconnectedness of all its components. By uniting our efforts, we aim to fortify and enhance this fabric, fostering a more resilient and prosperous community for all residents.
