With more than 3,000 students, IWU's 350-acre residential main campus thrives in Marion, Indiana, just 30 miles east of Kokomo. IWU-Marion offers more than 80 undergraduate degrees and an expanding list of graduate degree programs to residential students representing more than 80 Christian denominations and 10 foreign countries. In addition to our main campus, nearly 11,000 adult learners attend classes through IWU National & Global online or at education centers in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, like the Kokomo Thriving Center. There are more than 160 degree programs offered online or through our regional centers at the associate's, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. Finally, Wesley Seminary, founded in 2009, is headquartered on the IWU Marion Campus. Wesley Seminary offers a practical online path for working ministers to obtain a graduate- or doctoral-level degree while applying weekly knowledge to their local ministry contexts.

Programs and Services

Program Details
We welcome companies and organizations to reach out to the Kokomo Thriving Center to build a transformative partnership the Indiana Wesleyan University. We can support your goals through educational and professional development opportunities for your team and other stakeholders through existing programs or customized opportunities.

IWU National and Global offers more than 160 online, onsite, or hybrid programs in business, communication, counseling, life coaching, criminal justice, education, health sciences, information technology, leadership and followership, liberal arts, nursing, psychology, social work, theology and ministry. Programs are offered at the micro credential, certificate, associate, bachelor's, master's and doctorate levels.

Additional programs and initiatives from the Kokomo Thriving Center:
-Foundations of Life Coaching Bootcamps: 15-hour immersive training to equip contemporary leaders with coaching skills to build a team-oriented organizational culture, drive positive change management, and unlock people's potential to maximize their own performance.
-Foundation of Coaching and Leadership for K12 Education Professionals: Through a multi-year partnership with the Howard County Health Department, the Kokomo Thriving Center is working to support a broad mental health initiative through county public school corporations and private schools.
-Nonprofit Council and Faith Leader Council: A coalition of more than 100 organization, churches, faith centers, ministries, and community stakeholders that meet every third Thursday monthly and is facilitated by the Kokomo Thriving Center. Their mission is to foster community, create connections, and facilitate meaningful conversations among nonprofit and faith leaders in Kokomo and Howard County.
-Youth and Mental Health Resiliency Initiative: The center is leading a regional initiative on youth and mental health resiliency.
-Community partnerships: From being a partner bringing the Global Leadership Summit to Kokomo annually to supporting community initiatives with the expertise of a university, we continue to find ways to strengthen the fabric of our community.
-Level Up Leadership: The center hosts monthly webinars on various professional topics that are available to all community professionals.
-IWU's new Leadership by Design program has been developed by national leadership experts and can be delivered to companies and organizations throughout the region.
-Leadership Kokomo: LK is a program of Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo in partnership with the Kokomo Thriving Center, Indiana Wesleyan University National & Global; City of Kokomo; and Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance/Chamber. IWU has assessed the program for credit, and provides internationally-recognized leadership and followership faculty to help train enrolled community professionals.
